Research Publications on ME epidemics

This database contains the references of over 200 research publications, including letters, relating to 47 epidemics of ME (appearing under various names) from 1934 to 1980. These references have been collated as a resource of information from the older research literature. It has been painstakingly collected by Dr J. Gordon Parish over many years in order to characterise the illness and raise awareness of its epidemic nature. While some key papers from this database are available, most are relatively inaccessible and anyone with a particular interest in obtaining copies of these should contact MERGE for advice.
