Vertegenwoordiging van Vlaanderen bij de
WHO
De federale overheid is verantwoordelijk voor de verspreiding
van informatie afkomstig van internationale organisaties naar de deelstaten,
moet hen raadplegen voor standpuntbepaling en ervoor zorgen dat de deelstaten
kunnen deelnemen aan vergaderingen van deze organisaties. Dat is bepaald
in het samenwerkingsakkoord inzake de vertegenwoordiging van België
bij de multilaterale organisaties. Ook hier speelt de Federale overheidsdienst
Buitenlandse Zaken een coördinerende rol.

the Australian Modification of the International Classification of Diseases,
10th revision (ICD-10-AM) It is intended to be used in countries that do
not, as yet, have their own classification of interventions |

The ICD is the international standard diagnostic classification for all
general epidemiological, many health management purposes and clinical use.
These include the analysis of the general health situation of population
groups and monitoring of the incidence and prevalence of diseases and other
health problems in relation to other variables such as the characteristics
and circumstances of the individuals affected, reimbursement, resource allocation,
quality and guidelines.

The ICF is WHO's framework for measuring health and disability at both individual
and population levels. The ICF was officially endorsed by all 191 WHO Member
States in the Fifty-fourth World Health Assembly on 22 May 2001(resolution
WHA 54.21). Unlike its predecessor, which was endorsed for field trail purposes
only, the ICF was endorsed for use in Member States as the international
standard to describe and measure health and disability.
